LACCICO R2-CS: Delicate strength at 2 mm diameter
At 2 mm in diameter, this round lace is the classic choice for leather shoes with concealed eyelets: Oxfords, brogues, dress shoes and designer shoes. It blends unobtrusively into the lacing.
Material and manufacture: 100% cotton, braided to be tear-resistant.
The R2-CS finishing process: After braiding, the laces are waxed, hot-rolled and polished. The wax penetrates the braid and protects the fibre from moisture and abrasion. The result is a smooth surface with a satin-matte sheen that blends harmoniously with the texture of the finest shoe leathers.
Durability and function: The laces are a little stiff at first and become more supple with wear. Round laces do not twist and are easy to lace. R2-CS in Light Brown: warm for light leather
Light brown is a warm shade for light leather.
Short, 45 and 60 cm: With 45 cm you can lace a single pair of eyelets. 60 cm is the choice for derbies whose quarters sit far forward on the instep, and for small women's sizes with 4 or 5 pairs of eyelets.
Classic, 75 and 90 cm: On light brown Oxfords and derbies the fine lace lets the leather take the lead. 90 cm is right for a high instep or ankle-high styles. For small sizes such as EU 36 or 37, it can often be one step shorter.
Long, 120 to 180 cm: On ankle boots with concealed eyelets it is 120 cm, on knee-high women's boots 150 or 180 cm. On boots in light brown smooth leather or suede, the warm shade runs finely up the shaft.
Playing with contrast: On navy suede or dark brown leather, light brown looks bright and lively.
