LACCICO F6-CS: Wide, flat, finely patterned
At 6 mm wide, this flat lace is the choice for premium sneakers, comfort shoes and derbies with large eyelets.

Material and manufacture: 100% cotton, braided to be tear-resistant. Fine strands of yarn create a finely patterned braid and a flat profile, so the lace sits calmly on the shoe.

The F6-CS finishing process: After braiding, the laces are waxed, hot-rolled and polished. The wax penetrates the braid and protects the fibre from moisture and abrasion. The result is a smooth surface with a satin-matte sheen.

Durability and function: The laces are a little stiff at first and become more supple with wear. Flat laces want to lie flat. To stop them twisting as you lace up, keep the loop under slight tension with your other hand. The flat lace then glides flat through the eyelet without twisting. With open lacing, the gap between the quarters varies from shoe to shoe. So it is best to measure your old laces. Short, 75 and 90 cm: On comfort shoes, casuals and derbies with large eyelets the lace lies flat and calm. On black leather it blends in, and the lacing stays calm and clear.

Long, 120 and 150 cm: On sneakers the F6-CS shows what it can do: its satin-matte surface keeps up where the shoe itself is already something special. On boots with large eyelets it looks solid and refined too.

Playing with contrast: On white sneakers black sets a clear, elegant frame. On grey or sand-coloured suede it looks relaxed.

Worn with: Jeans and chinos as well as a trouser suit, a leather jacket and the little black dress.
