LACCICO F4-CS: Narrow, flat, classic
At 4 mm wide, this flat lace is the choice for lace-up ankle boots with eyelets and hooks, for sneakers and for leather shoes with exposed eyelets.
Material and manufacture: 100% cotton, braided to be tear-resistant.
The F4-CS finishing process: After braiding, the laces are waxed, hot-rolled and polished. The wax penetrates the braid and protects the fibre from moisture and abrasion. The result is a smooth surface with a satin-matte sheen that blends harmoniously with the texture of the finest shoe leathers.
Durability and function: The laces are a little stiff at first and become more supple with wear. Flat laces want to lie flat. To stop them twisting as you lace up, keep the loop under slight tension with your other hand. The flat lace then glides flat through the eyelet without twisting. On hooks, lay the lace in under tension after crossing it over rather than pulling it through. That way it does not chafe. Before ordering, it is best to measure your old laces. F4-CS in Black: clarity that goes with everything
