LACCICO R3-CS: Round, strong, uncomplicated
At 3 mm in diameter, this round lace is the choice for derbies, desert boots and lace-up ankle boots with hooks. If you like things uncomplicated, take it instead of a flat lace.
Material and manufacture: 100% cotton, braided to be tear-resistant.
The R3-CS finishing process: After braiding, the laces are waxed, hot-rolled and polished. The wax penetrates the braid and protects the fibre from moisture and abrasion. The result is a smooth surface with a satin-matte sheen that blends harmoniously with the texture of the finest shoe leathers.
Durability and function: The laces are a little stiff at first and become more supple with wear. Round laces do not twist and are easy to lace. On hooks, lay the lace in under tension after crossing it over rather than pulling it through. Pulling in the wrong direction is the most common cause of wear. Before ordering, it is best to measure your old laces. As a registered customer, you will also find the lengths you bought before in your order history.

R3-CS in Burgundy: deep and warm
The R3 is the all-rounder: round, 3 mm, uncomplicated. The list of what it does not suit is short; only for concealed eyelets is it too thick. Burgundy brings colour to the shoe without getting loud.
Short, 45 to 90 cm: On dark brown and burgundy derbies and brogues it blends in tone on tone.
Long, 120 and 150 cm: On lace-up ankle boots in dark brown or burgundy, it answers the depth of the leather.
In wind and weather: Anyone out in the wet will notice the difference: with waxed cotton the bow does not come undone as easily as with smooth synthetics, even though these are more abrasion-resistant. And if a bow keeps coming undone, it is almost always the knot. Tying the starting knot the other way round usually helps.
Playing with contrast: On grey suede, navy or light hiking shoes, burgundy shows its lively side.
Worn with: Tweed, roll-necks, jeans and wide-leg trousers.
