LACCICO F6-CS: Wide, flat, finely patterned
At 6 mm wide, this flat lace is the choice for premium sneakers, comfort shoes and derbies with large eyelets.
Material and manufacture: 100% cotton, braided to be tear-resistant. Fine strands of yarn create a finely patterned braid and a flat profile, so the lace sits calmly on the shoe.
The F6-CS finishing process: After braiding, the laces are waxed, hot-rolled and polished. The wax penetrates the braid and protects the fibre from moisture and abrasion. The result is a smooth surface with a satin-matte sheen.
Durability and function: The laces are a little stiff at first and become more supple with wear. Flat laces want to lie flat. To stop them twisting as you lace up, keep the loop under slight tension with your other hand. The flat lace then glides flat through the eyelet without twisting. With open lacing, the gap between the quarters varies from shoe to shoe. So it is best to measure your old laces.
