LACCICO R2-CS: Delicate strength at 2 mm diameter
At 2 mm in diameter, this round lace is the classic choice for leather shoes with concealed eyelets: Oxfords, brogues, dress shoes and designer shoes. It blends unobtrusively into the lacing.
Material and manufacture: 100% cotton, braided to be tear-resistant.
The R2-CS finishing process: After braiding, the laces are waxed, hot-rolled and polished. The wax penetrates the braid and protects the fibre from moisture and abrasion. The result is a smooth surface with a satin-matte sheen that blends harmoniously with the texture of the finest shoe leathers.
Durability and function: The laces are a little stiff at first and become more supple with wear. Round laces do not twist and are easy to lace. With concealed eyelets, the lace should be thinner than the inside of the eyelet, otherwise the surface suffers when it is pulled through. Before ordering, it is best to measure your old laces. R2-CS in Red: a confident statement
